I had a lovely two-night stay with a nice, spacious room and a super-comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and perfect for starting our day! the photos were misleading. the bathroom setup isn't ideal for washing dishes.

The location was fantastic for exploring Whitby, and the kids loved the mini suite, especially the tv for movie nights. Our stay was filled with comfort and convenience, making it a nice family getaway.
My kids wished there were more kitchen supplies like extra cups and plates for our family of eight. It would have made our stay much smoother.

Great location and modern updates
I loved the convenient location of the flat, which made exploring the area a breeze. The modern updates in the accommodation made my stay comfortable, especially the newly refurbished facilities and clean environment. I think the kitchen could be better equipped as it felt a bit lacking for a larger group.

missingWrote a review on Jul 01convenient locationuseful kitchencleanliness issuelack of amenitiesconfusing navigation
Location is a major highlight, being just a few minutes' walk from the Pavilion, which was perfect for my needs. The small kitchen was adequately equipped, making meal prep a breeze. the cleanliness left much to be desired with dust evident, and a lack of basic amenities, like coat hangers, was surprising. navigating to the property was tedious and confusing due to the multitude of similar names, leading to unnecessary stress upon arrival.

Spacious Room with a Great Location
I recently stayed in a one-bedroom apartment that was spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach and local attractions. we found the check-in process unclear and the parking situation was a hassle, which could definitely be improved.

The place had a modern feel with nice amenities, although the outside wasn't appealing at all. Clean rooms contained useful features, and staff were helpful. steep stairs were quite a hassle, and parking was tricky. it was a reasonable experience despite a few setbacks.

The convenience of Discovery House’s location stood out. Just a short downhill walk to the Whitby front made exploring easy. The mini suite we got felt spacious, which was a pleasant surprise for a last-minute stay. It seemed fairly clean overall, and the wifi worked well. we faced a few hiccups. Arriving at 2:30 PM, the room wasn’t ready yet, which was frustrating since check-in started at 3 PM. The area surrounding the accommodation felt a bit run down, which affected the overall vibe. The bed was rickety, uncomfortable, and lumpy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The bedding looked old and used, detracting from any comfort. The shower had issues, wobbling during use, and felt poorly designed. Plus, the tiny portions of tea bags and milk felt a bit petty when we just wanted a decent cuppa. The pool being in a separate building, with restricted hours and a small fee, was unexpected and slightly inconvenient. All these factors made our overall experience less satisfying than hoped.
